Cushendall lies in the heart of the Glens of Antrim where three glens Glenaan, Glenballyemon and Glencorp meet. It's known locally as the 'Capital of the Glens'. The town lies in the shadow of the table topped Lurigethan Mountain. The current population of the town is around 1500. They're well served with a golf course and boating club. Hill walking and water sports are also popular in the area and the town is also known for its traditional Irish music sessions and friendly pubs.
